3 ways Agents can build their online communities (and personal brand) using Facebook Live

January 03 2017

TSA fb live build communities brand

You've seen media giants like The New York Times use Facebook Live and you tuned in when your local sportscaster streamed his reaction to the end of the big game on Sunday. Still, you're not sure how you can leverage livestreaming to bring in new clients or to build your brand.

Don't fear — we've put our heads together to think of three easy (and effective) ways that agents can get started on Facebook Live. Read on for our best ideas.

1. Share a market insight

You know the stats — but does your community? The next time you see a unique market trend, click "Live" on Facebook and share it quickly. Here's a sample script to get you started:

Hi there, this is Ricky Realtor over at Golden Gate Realty. I just left a closing where my client, a seller with a home in the Marina Park district, received 8 percent over our asking price. We listed it at a fair market price, but there were SO many eager buyers that we got six offers in just four days! My client was able to take her pick and she got $16,000 more than she was expecting AND a 30-day closing timeline.

I know there are agents out there who say, "It's a great time to sell!" even if the market isn't that great. I hate that mentality, but I do love to work with sellers when the time is right for them. If you want my honest opinion, give me a call at 555.123.4567 and we can go over realistic expectations together — at absolutely no cost to you, and, of course, no obligation to hire me now or in the future. Take care guys, and get outside today! It's a beautiful day for a jog around Marina Park!"
